DAVID (STONE), bapt. 21 July 1568; was living in Great Bromley as late as 1597, but his further history has not been positively traced. But he probably later moved to Wrabnes, co. Essex, a parish about six miles northeast of Great Bromley, where a David Stone d. in 1633, administration on his estate being granted on 8 Nov. of that year to his widow Barbara. Inventory of his goods totaled £26-13-2. (Administration Act Book, Commissary of London for Essex and Herts, 1633-1635, fol. 30.) He m. (1), at Great Bromley, 26 Nov. 1590, FRANCES WEST.
