Utica Daily Press, 9 Jan 1946: NEGLIGENCE CASE SLATED FOR RETRIAL … Announcement was made of settlement of the case of Ellsworth Scott as guardian of his son David, 5, who was injured while a passenger in the car of his grandfather, Northrup B. Scott, against Frank Colella, Rome. The Scotts live in Blossvale. Judgment of $5,000 had been asked because of injuries to the boy, including a hip fracture, and $750 for damage to Northrup B. Scott's car. Terms of the settlement were not revealed. The Scott and Colella cars collided at the Fish Creek Landing and Judd Pt. RD intersection near Stacy Basin, June 28.
