Case: #17855/6, 1731 Inventory 15 Jun 1732.
link David's inventory was taken 15 June 1732. Bond posted by Sarah Pratt, Jeremiah Pike, and Joseph Pratt on 19 Jul 1731. A list of heirs dated 5 April 1734 included David, eldest, Rachel, wife of D[anie]l Claflin and Hezabah, the late wife of Moses Pike both daughters of the deceased (Mehitable?), Jonathan, Sarah, Abigail, Prudence, and heirs of Stephen and Elisha. The distribution on 27 Feb. 1734 said Jonathan was the eldest and only remaining son [sic]. It was signed by widow Sarah, Rachel and Daniel Claflin, David Pratt, and Moses Pike as guardian for four of the minors [Elisha had died]. Also signing were John Adams, Michael and William Pike and Hoza Rice. Sarah's account gave death dates for son Stephen, 12 April 1733, Elisha on 29 Nov. 1733, and Hepzibah on 3 Feb. 1733/4. In another file, #17856, on 2 July 1733 Moses Pike was named guardian for Elisha, 17, Jonathan 15, Sarah in her 13th year, Abigail in her 12th year, and Prudence in her 9th year. Estate included 33 3/4 acres bounded by Joseph Pratt, Ebenezer Stone, Lapreme(?) Stone, Daniel Biglow; also woodland bounded by Ebenezer Howe, & Poker Galloup; 8 acres of meadow near the meadow of Joseph Pratt; a lot bounded by land owned by the heirs of Jona Puffar [probably Puffer which was an early family here]; 32 acres by land of James and Simon Mollon [probably James and Simon Mellens]; another plot given by the deceased Pratt to son David Pratt for life also bounded by land of James and Simon Mollon [probably James and Simon Mellens]. The widow rec'd a portion of the house, barn, an orchard (near Daniel Biglow), pasture, birch stand, swamp, woods near Galloup Stone, woods near land of the heirs of Jona Cutlar, etc., etc.
