    [Lexington records show the death of a David in 1743, and baptism of David in 1744. The age at death suggests the surviving David was b. 1744. Therefore there is no explanation for David's participation in a deed in 1757 which is the evidence for suspecting a birth about 1736. Since the death date in 1743 may belong to another David, it is not clear there is any reason to think there was an earlier son named David in this family?]
