  3. "David E. Irwin, former Lima newspaper man, now of the Cleveland division of Universal Airlines, will accompany the Husted transpacific flight next June and chief radio engineer. Announcement was made Saturday in Cleveland by Harry A. Husted, backer of the flight.
    Irwin will be remembered in Lima as having worked on the South Side Commercial Star. While in this city he met and married Miss Inez Heller. The Irwin's now reside in Cleveland.
    The proposal flight, on which Irwin has been associated with Husted in drawing up preliminary plans, will be made in a 32 passenger, four motored Fokker plane. The flight is scheduled to start from San Francisco on June 15.
    Besides Irwin the crew of the plane on the flight will include Husted, a newspaper man and photographer, Jimmy King, Bill Whitney and James Doyle, all Western Air Express pilots, Cleveland division."
