Transcript:David Herron Will 1778

Overview

This man is distinct from another David Herron Person:David Herron (2) (who is likely a relative) living in nearby Franklin County. This David Herron lived in the area around Newville, Pennsylvania. He was heavily entwined with the Walker family in the town. He married Elizabeth Walker Person:Elizabeth_Walker_(253)[1] and was a neighbor to William Walker Person:William_Walker_(212). Many of his children migrated with William's family to the southwest corner of Rockingham, North Carolina in the 1760's. His will refers confusingly to two William Walkers, one a son-in-law, and the other a brother in law. These two Williams are first cousins referring to Person:William_Walker_(314) and Person:William_Walker_(201) respectively.
