David Dean, son of Jeremiah and Mary Dean, deceaced Jan'ry 19th, 1746-7.

  3. The death record is too ambiguous to tell if it applies to Jeremiah Sr. or Jeremiah Jr. Note that Source:Cooper, Marion Deane. Descendants of John Dean (1650-1727) of Dedham, Massachusetts, p. 25 and p. 35, applies this death record to both a David, s/o Jeremiah Sr. and Mary, and to a David, s/o Jeremiah Jr. and Mary. On p. 35, it adds "in childhood" which is not seen on p. 76. While it was typical for twins (i.e., s/o Jeremiah Sr.) to died as infants, there is no birth record for any such son of Jeremiah Jr. Further, the record does not identify it as Jeremiah Jr. Pending more information, such as age at death, it is presumed this applies to the s/o Jeremiah Sr. and that there was only one David.
