From Barbara Crumpton: "There is 18 Jul 1877 Delta, TX minors index on Bedford F. and Catherine R. Banthel". She suspects these are David Benthal's children. Barbara also supplied David's middle name.

Later research has found a Jackson/Carrell private chart listing the children of David and S. F. Little as: Bedford Forest Benthal and Catherine R. Benthal with no dates or sources. From the above I would assume their birthdates as being between 1872 and 1877 and probably both born in Delta Co., Texas.
