Facts and Events
Daniel Pratt was baptised on 25th September 1831 at Weston in Hertfordshire, son of a straw plaiter named Ann Pratt, formerly Moles, and her husband John Pratt, a labourer. Both Daniel's parents were from the neighbouring parish of Willian. The family moved about the local area during the 1830s and early 1840s, but by the late 1840s had settled back in Willian.
Daniel appears in the 1851 census living with his parents and siblings at Willian, and working as an agricultural labourer.
