Obviously an unreliable source is given. Presumably based on F. C. Pierce's Descendants of John Pers, which adds a son Daniel with no dates or evidence given, saying division of estate among all the children except Anne, but that is shown to be wrong by simply checking the probate [Essex Probate 21188], as Daniel is never mentioned in the settlement (possibly misread Sam'll as Dan'll?) So, since not alive at the time of settlement and without a birth or death record, there is absolutely no evidence that such a son existed. He is not shown in this family in Pramberg's Four Generations of Daniel Piece.
