Daniel J. Kiser, 81, of Connellsville, died Tuesday evening in Connellsville State Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1878, at Hyndman, son of the late Henry and Rebecca Martin Kiser. He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church. He is survived by three children: Mrs. Homer Clark, of South Connellsville, Orville of Connellsville, and Mrs. Ivan Willison of Hyndman; two brothers, Peter Franklin (sic) of Cumberland, Md., and William of Johnstown; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The body will be at the McIntire funeral home after 5 p.m. today, and after 2 p.m. Thursday in the Ziegler funeral home in Hyndman. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Ziegler funeral home with Rev. A. F. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Comp Cemetery near Hyndman. The Daily Courier, January 27, 1960
