Obituary DAN D. HOSLER, 83 Dan D. Hosler, 83, of East Jordan, died Feb. 6, 1992, at Northern Michigan Hospital, Petoskey. Services were held Sunday at the Paullin Funeral Home, East Jordan. The Rev. David l. Behling officiated, with interment following at Lakeside Cemetery, South Arm Township. Mr. Hosler was born May 17, 1908, in East Jordan, the son of George and Florence (Isman) Hosler. He grew up in East Jordan. On Oct. 3, 1940, he married the former Bessie Howard in East Jordan, and she survives. Mr. Hosler moved to Flint in 1953 where he worked for General Motors as a press operator. He worked for 18 years and retired in 1971. He then moved back to East Jordan. He enjoyed knitting. He is survived by his wife; six sons, Alfred Hosler of Flint, John Chew of Conway, Ivan Chew of Alanson, Clifford Chew of Flint, David Hosler of East Jordan and George Hosler of East Jordan; four daughters Mrs. Ruth Bass of LaGrange, Ga. Mrs. Jim (Nancy) Waldorf, Mrs. David (Susan) Hague and Mrs. Mary Lewis, all of East Jordan; 35 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
