D. Z. Hoffman, a former county recorder, died at the home of his son Martin L. Hoffman in Butler township Friday morning. He had been sick for four years. He was seventy-six years old and came to Dekalb county with his parents when he was eleven years old from Adams County, Pennsylvania.
