[Note: as the birth record does not indicate Jr or Sr, it is unknown if there is a reason other than guessing for putting this Daniel in the family of John and Sarah Graves Sr. Perhaps because the parents reused the name lateR? On the other hand he is only 11 months after the birth of Martha who survived to adulthood, a possible but unusual spacing. The various Graves genealogy put a daughter Sarah b. 1691 into the Jr. family, which probably influenced their decision, but no birth record is found for her and the basis for that is also unknown. Obviously, if this is the correct family, Daniel died before 1698 when another child with the same name was born.]
