Hi, There isn't much info on Daniel Perry Eaton. I found the following: Daniel P. Eaton & Margaret Williams m. 11/20/1856 in Franklin Parish [LA Marriages 1718-1925] Land registered to Daniel P. Eaton at the Monroe Land Office 12-7-1859 4-1- 1861 5-2-1861 Civil War record for D. P. Eaton D. P. Eaton a blacksmith with the 1st Cavalry Regiment, Louisiana Dragoons - enlisted 4/21/1862 at Courtland, AL - went on a one month furlough to LA from 2/5/1863-3/5/1863 - AWOL after that Eaton family not found on the 1860 or 1870 census records. 1880 Franklin Parish census Margaret Eaton 52 widow LA MD OH Allen W 18 LA LA LA Elizabeth 12 LA LA LA On 5/16/1881 the Big Creek School opened near Liddieville Ogden Community. Lizzie Eaton was a student. In 1888, 25-year old Allen Eaton accidently shot and killed a friend. He was not charged.
