At West Edmeston, N. Y., Dec. 17th, 1874, Daniel Coon, aged 69 years. The subject of this notice was a man quiet and unassuming in his ways, but possessing those excellences of heart, and that integrity and uprightness of life and character which won for him general confidence and esteem and a large circle of friends. He has been for many years a firm and consistent believer in Christ, and was at the time of his death a worthy and esteemed member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Brookfield. His death will be a source of heart-felt sorrow to many, especially to his bereaved companion and children who will ever cherish his memory as a kind, consistent, and devoted husband and father. S.
