Personal History

Graduated Cheyenne High School in 1943. Dale enlisted in the U.S. Navy before his 18th birthday. He served in World War II and was discharged in 1946.

Dale was married twice. His first wife was Rae Ann Christian. They were married on 11 Sept 1949 in Lusk, Niobrara, Wyoming; and later divorced. Dale's second marriage was to Joyce Black on the 1 Nov 1974 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville, Idaho.

Later in life, Dale recalls his experience of a flood in 1935.
