- ↑ Letter, 17 June 1993, Reece Mayer (grandson of Conrad's sister) to Gayel Knott:
Conrad Reusswig is not listed as a survivor when his sister Marie Lickert died in 1921. They just listed two sisters, no brothers. Aunt Marie (Conrad's niece), just a year or two before she died, told me her Uncle Conrad Reuswig came west one time to see them. It was while they were living on the Ranch at Roseberry and in the new house she thought. The house was built in 1920. Marie was 15. She couldn't remember much else, except that he came alone. [And probably was not Conrad - his sister, Marie's mother, would have said something about his having disappeared for so long.]
