  5. Clifford M. Whitmore, 47, of 3721 Plumb, died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday in a local hospital. He was a pretroleum engineer for the Stanolind Oil Company. He was a member of the West University Methodist Church. He was a member of the Masons, Melody Lodge No. 2, A.F.&A.M. of Plattesville, Wis., Schottish Rite Bodies: El Paso Consistory No. 3 and the Arabia Temple of Houston. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Fannie Florence Whitmore; a son, Clifford Sims Whitmore of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. John D. Williams of Houston and Mrs. A. F. Koinzan of New Plymouth, Idaho. Funeral services at 10 am Thursday at the Pat H. Foley Funeral Home under the suspices of the West University Place Masonic Lodge, with Rev. Karl Bayer officiating. Burial in Forest Park Cemetery. Honorary pall-bearers are from the employees and officials of the Stanolind Oil Company.
