Lintelman, 89, of Fairmont, MN will be 10:30 A..M., Friday, September 14, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park In Fairmont Mrs. Lintelman passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 11, 2007 at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P. M., Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Services for Clarice M. Lintelman, 89, of Fairmont, MN will be 10:30 A..M., Friday, September 14, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont with burial to follow at Fairview Memorial Park In Fairmont Mrs. Lintelman passed away Tuesday afternoon, September 11, 2007 at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P. M., Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Clarice Mae Barke was born May 23, 1918, in Pleasant Prairie Township, Martin County, MN the daughter of Adolph and Sarah (Haeckel) Barke. As a young child, she moved with her parents to a farm in Rutland Township. She attended County School District 95 in Rutland Township and graduated from Fairmont High School in 1936. On October 16, 1941 Clarice was united in marriage to Arthur Lintelman in Fairmont, MN. Following Art’s discharge from the Army in 1945, they farmed in Rolling Green Township and later in Fairmont Township. Clarice was employed by Martin County A.S.C.S. from 1939 to 1945. She was a secretary at Wm. Budd School from 1966 to 1989. Clarice was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and it’s Ladies Aid and also a member of F.A.E.O.P., serving as treasurer. She was also active in 4-H, serving on the 4-H Council and as an adult leader. Following retirement she served as a volunteer at Wm. Budd School and also for the bloodmobile. Family was first with Clarice throughout her life and her passion for flowers, birds and nature provided her many happy hours. She had been a resident of the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center since 2004. Clarice is survived by three sons, Kurt Lintelman (Linda) of Round Lake, MN, Thomas Lintelman (special friend Audrey Slater) and Robert Lintelman (Greta), all of Fairmont, MN; two daughters, Jane Lintelman of Fairmont, MN and Joy Lintelman (Richard Chapman) of Moorhead, MN; eight grandchildren, Ross (Cheryl), David (fianceé Taylor),Chris, Seth (Elizabeth), Amber and Emma Lintelman, Hannah and Noah Chapman; two great grandchildren, Alex and Shelby Lintelman; two brothers, Richard (Eunice) Barke and Robert (Lavonne) Barke, all of Fairmont, MN; two sisters-in-law, Esther Kellner of Parkston, SD and Hazel Flohrs of Trimont, MN; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Adolph and Sarah Barke and her husband, Arthur Lintelman, she was also preceded in death by an infant son, James, an infant brother and a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Glen Krueger.

September 13, 2007 Goodbye Grandma…. From the Florida Lintelmans, Grandma, first of all we wish we could be there to celebrate your life! Please rest knowing we are there in spirit and you will forever be in our life. We appreciate you taking all of us into your life with open arms. Cheryl and I have wonderful memories of holiday’s and all visits to Fairmont. Christmas was always special. We live so far away from family but try to make our celebrations as wonderful as you made them for us. The stockings with everyone’s name…. Taking turns to open presents…. The food… The “kids” wine…. (The adults wine too!!!). Another almost unimaginable part of your life is that none of us can remember you being upset, impatient or “stressed”… We all wish we could see your smile one last time!! We know you are in a better place. Love you very much, Ross Cheryl Alex and Shelby.

David's note.... Hello Jane, wanted to write to you to let you know I am thinking of you. I wish I was writing you in better times. I will miss grandma very very much I truly feel that you as well as her have a great deal to do with my Fairmont memories, and that I will never forget wether we were going to parks, enjoying the holidays, playing when I was a small boy on just being at grandmas on the swing. There are so many great memories that I have had with both of you. I will never forget the 'happy cowboys' aka Jolly Ranchers. She truly was an amazing person and grandmother. I feel very blessed that I got to know as much about her as I did. I also would like to thank you both for loving me no matter what, and always showing me that love. Sadly with school and the short notice I will not be able to be there, but I do send my love and sentiments. I will miss her deeply. Love Ya Loads, David
