He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from the Veterans Administration in Telecommunications. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Troxell) Lamphier, also 2 daughters, Lori A. May and husband John of Romney, Deborah Fantacci of N.C. ; 2 sons, Derek Lamphier of Augusta, Robert Lamphier of N.C. ; 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and 2 grandsons...Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2006... in the McKee Funeral Home Chapel Augusta, WV with Pastor Burl Charlton officiating.
