Clara CHIPMAN", b. Oct. 26. 1848. at Delphos, Ohio; unm. : resides in Cincinnati. Miss Newton is a woman of much energy and ability, interested in many lines of endeavor. In the patriotic societies she is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution; charter member of tlie Ohio Mayflower Soc'iety, organized April 25, 1808 ; also business secretary of the Cincinnati Woman's Club; was one of the first decorators of Rockwood Pottery, and had charge of the pottery during its early years.
