CLARA ADELAIDE (JANVRIN) MARSHALL , 82, died at her home 3100 Orchard Sunday noon. She had been a resident of Nebraska fifty-eight years, thirty-one of which were spent in Lincoln. She came to Nebraska wither her husband from Illinois in 1876, and settled on a farm two miles west of Friend. They moved to Lincoln in 1903. She was a member of Farragut W.R.C., Columbia chapter O.E.S. and of the Epworth Methodist Chruch. Mrs. Marshall was born at Unionville, Ill., May 19, 1852. She married Frank Marshall Dec. 22, 1868, who had served four years in the Civil war. In 1871 they moved to Chicago, coming from there to Nebraska. Mr. Marshall died June 22, 1917. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Coates and Mrs. Emma Carpenter, both of Gordon; Mrs. Edna Larson, Lincoln; two sons, John F. , Omaha, and Frank J., Lincoln; brother Elmer Janvrin, Morrison, IL; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
