Mrs. Hilda Sundberg Johnson Died Less Than a Day After Claus Sundberg

The death of Claus M. Sundberg, eighty-six years old, proprietor of the West End Garment Cleaners Company, who died Sunday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock, was followed by the death of his daughter, Mrs. Hilda Sundberg Johnson, fifty-two years old, shortly before 7 o'clock this morning.

The father died at his home, 626 South Twenty-sixth street. Mrs. Johnson had been ill for some time of complications, her death being expected. She died at her home, 3503 West Madison, where her father's business was located.

In early life Mrs. Johnson, then a young girl, Sundberg and his family came to America from their home in Sweden, and after brief stays in cities in the United States, settled in Louisville, where the father engaged in the dry cleaning business. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, August Johnson, and a brother, C. M. Sundberg, Jr.

The funeral of the father will take place at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon from his residence, and the burial will be in Cake Hill cemetery. The remains of the daughter will be laid to rest at the same hour Tuesday afternoon and in the same cemetery.
