It is not known if CHRISTOPHER had links to Tuscarawas County, as most of the early Urbana pioneers did. He was one of the reputed 18 (or 21?) founders of St. Peter's Church at Urbana, Indiana. His occupation was a farmer.

The 1860 Federal Census Enumeration for Noble Township, Wabash County, Indiana shows Christopher's household. It shows Christopher and "Magdalene". Also living in the household is the NICHOLAS LOWER family, of 10 individuals! This was shortly before Nicholas and his family moved to Illinois. It is a mystery why they would all be living together, as there was no known close family relationship.

For some reason, Christopher's wife does not show up in James Haupert's listing of Urbana Cemetery burials.

The census gives his age as 50, which is a descrepancy and at odds with James Haupert's cemetery index.
