  4. Charlotte's death record names her parents as Isiah [presumably Isaiah?] and Martha C. Cheever. Her marriage record to Ebenezer Thurston names them as Israel & Martha Cheever. Find A Grave seems to think they are Isaac & Martha, though that does not come from the gravestone. Perhaps it is based on the marriage of a Frances Cheever of Fitchburg, age 64, first marriage in 1862, so about the same age, giving parents as Isaac & Martha, and birth place New Ipswich, NH. (Frances' death record gives parents as unknown.) Neither Source:Chandler, Charles H. History of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, 1735-1914, nor Source:Kidder, Frederic. History of New Ipswich, from Its First Grant in MDCCXXXVI, to the Present Time, seems to give any information on a Cheever family, though the latter one lists "Israel Cheever" as one of the shoe-makers in town. One of the best matches to all the suggested parents' names found seems to be Israel Cheever and Martha Collins, m. Lynn, MA, 18 Jun 1778.
