LITHGOW, Thursday
A man named Charles Wellings died very suddenly last night at the railway deviation works, Dargin's Creek. Wellings was a sufferer from chronic asthma. He was returning from work when he was attacked by violent coughing. An effort was made to get him to Clarence Siding station and thence to the Lithgow Hospital, but he died before reaching the station. As the police were present an inquest was dispensed with.
