Living in Rutland at 1920 census and again at 1930 with mother. Listed in 1926 Rutland Directory as a reporter for the Evening News, boarding at 63 Grove and in 1927 Rutland Directory as the night editor for the paper. In 1930, he is again living at 63 Grove.

He was living in Bridgeport, CT when he registered for the World War II Draft, working for the Bridgeport Brass Company.
