Charles W. "Chuck" Schamp, 47, of Aurora died Friday, April 30, 1999, at BryanLGH Medical Center East in Lincoln.
Mr. Schamp was cremated. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cottonwood Cemetery in Burwell. The Rev. Murry Johnston will officiate.
Eberle-Hitchcock Funeral Home in Burwell is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Schamp was born on April 11, 1952, in Greeley to Harry and Orvetta (Crumrine) Schamp.
He married Vicki West on Feb. 22, 1975. They were later divorced. He married Patricia Burson on July 3, 1986, in Grand Island. He worked at Monfort in the hides department.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Jonathan Schamp of Grand Island; three stepsons, John Bish, Matthew Bish and Nathan Bish, all of Aurora; two grandchildren; his father, of Ord; one brother, Harry Joseph Schamp of Hay Springs; and two sisters, Sandy Cook of Grand Island and Cathy Schamp of Axtell.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
