    Lucy Marsh b. at New Hartford, Ct., Nov. 20, 1784, dau. of Jonathan and Damaris (Pitkin) Marsh, (Jonathan 4, Capt. Jonathan 3, John 2, John 1); united with the church in 1805; m. Feb. 23. 1807. No. 2724. Dea. Charles Buck Richards son of Aaron and Lydia Richards, b. Feb. 6, 1780.

    Charles B. Richards and his wife, Lucy M., settled about half a mile south of his father's homestead, on a portion of his father's extensive tract of land, and afterward built a brick house on the corner of the road leading to North Canton. He united with the First Congregational church n 1802. They changed their relation to the Second or North church, Dec. 25, 1808, of which church he was deacon for several years. The First church was situated on Town Hill, the Second at New Hartford, north village, much nearer their home. Lucy Marsh Richards died Aug. 19, 1857. Deacon Charles B. Knight died at New Hartford in 1869. They were the parents of ten children, who were "all members of the church."
