  2. Sandusky, Ohio, United States. 1850 U.S. Census Population Schedule. (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration Publication M432).

[per User:Jonjay - Charles was a Physician according to the 1850 census, in Scott Township Sandusky CO OH. The Census also shows Charles was born in Germany. At the time of the census he was 43 years of age and Magdalena was a young 24. Nineteen years difference in age! Just like my mother and father.]

  3.   Family notes per User:Jonjay.

In the 1850 OH Census of Sandusky CO Scott Township it lists Charles A. Roush age 43 with Magdalena as his wife.

In the Sandusky CO Marriage Records: GR 1505 in the OH Historical Society's State Library for the years 1820-1870 it shows Magdalena married to Charles A. Roush on 22 Aug. 1850.

These records line up with the family dates and birth of Magdalena Lehmann. The marriage records do misspell Magdalena's last name as "Leheneum".

Charles is listed in the census as a Physician, which also matches family records.
