part of the Logan Family project
I wish my body to be descretly interred the expenses thereof defrayed out of my estate and all my just debts paid. First I give and bequeath to my son Joseph B. Logan my plantation in which I now live together with all my farming untensils my yoke of oxen my bed bedstead and furniture. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sally Irvine/Irwine one horse beast to be valued to the value of one hundred and fifty bushels of corn form the fall in the fall said horse beast is to be paid my said daughter by my son Joseph B. Logan in consideration of his part of my estate left as above said horse _____ (I think it is an amount of money but I cannot make out what he means) to be paid within the limits of my ten months. To My Son John Logan an me__ Bible (it looks like me Louyds Bible) (or possibly me large Bible but it is but it could be a third choice that I am just not getting) having provided my daughter Polly McAllister, Martha Irvine deceased and Betsy Irvine and my James Logan to each I give and bequeath three dollars in any Kind of property out of my estate to my three daughters Jane M. Logan, Melinda J. Logan and Febe M. Logan All my stock of Cattle and me loom with all my household and kitchen furniture to be equally divided among my said daughters viz Jane M. Logan, Malinda J. Logan and Febe M. Logan if my said daughters can not agree in the division of Said property my executors shall assign out two disinterested men to make said division. I make, constitute and appoint my sons Joseph B. Logan and John Eaken executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this fifth day of March 1825.
