    This database appears to be the only source of an actual birth date, and its sources were not captured, so it is not certain how reliable it is. Find A Grave gives the same date, with no source citation. The place is given as "Cobbs Hall", but his father bought the land that later became "Cobbs Hall" in Mar 1656[/57] (Lee, Lee of Virginia, p. 559).
