Index - Carver Co., Watertown FHL #888,976 as child 1900 Dunn Co., Menomomie, WI - Vol 19 ED 89, SH 12, Pg. 12 1920 Utah Co. Utah Vol 16 ED 213 Sh 14 Ln 51 (spelled Eirskin) 1930 by correspondence, gives birth information The family moved from Wisconsin before 1910 to Montara, CA. This is about twenty-five miles south of San Fransisco, so they were there for the San Francisco earthquake. Perhaps this is the reason for the more thereafter to Laytonville. Between 1910 and 1920 the family lived in Laytonvill, CA where Aldred, and no doubt some of his brothers received their education to 8th grade, at Pepperwood School OBITUARY: Burbank Daily Review, 11 Aug 1933 - Funeral services for Charles C. Erskine who passed away at his home here early yesterday morning, will be conducted by Rev. Howard Tolman of the L.D.S. church 2 P.M. tomorrow at the Fillback chapel. Frank Dewsnup will also speak. Interment will be made at Valhalla Memorial Park. Charles was a carpenter by trade. He built some of the homes the family lived in. References
