Schoolmaster for Dover, NH in 1657. Moved to Boston between 1665 and 1668. Last known record dated 3 Oct 1683, as witness to will of John Winslow of Boston. Wife Mary was identified as a widow in the will of her father John Hunting of Dedham, Mass. on 15 Dec 1684. Father was apparently John Buckner (1595-?), son of Thomas Buckner (1562-aft 1633), mercer of London, and mother was perhaps Mary Adams, daughter of Thomas Adams, stationer of London, and his wife Elizabeth, who ran the printing business after his death.
