Charlana Conklin was born on 22 July 1838. In 1852, Joseph Martin was appointed as her guardian. She married Nicholas Lough in 1870. Charlana died on 7 July 1876 and is buried next to her parents at Mount Moriah Methodist Cemetery in Withamsville (Clermont County), Ohio. Her tombstone identifies her as the wife of N. Lough and says that she died at 37 years, 11 months, 15 days.
