    Funeral services will be held at the Honeycutt Chapel here tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Harrison Houser, 68, valley pioneer, who passed away at her home in the country yesterday afternoon following a long illness.

    The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Huss, both of whom died here several years ago, Catherine Belle Houser was born at Boise, Idaho, November 29, 1866. With her parents, she went to Mount Vernon, Ore., and then to Kittitas Valley. The family located in the Fairview District in 1885 and Mrs. Houser had made her home there almost continuously since.

    She was married to Harrison Houser, who survives her, on December 31, 1890. Two children were born to them; Cecil, who died a few years ago and Mrs. Eileen Davis.

    Surviving, in addition to her widower and daughter, are four grandchildren: Leslie and Richard Houser and Henry and Beth Davis; a sister, Mrs. James Roach, Chehalis; six brothers: William, Bird and Frank of Ellensburg; James of McCleary, Oscar of Twisp and Ray of Wapato, and a number of more distant relatives.

    A member of the Christian Church from early youth, Mrs. Houser was among the oldest and best known of the pioneers still alive and residing in the valley.
    Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
