20 Aug 1809 Catey Covington of Edgefield District to Burnett Covington for the sum of two hundred & forty nine dollars in hand paid by the said Burnett Covington have granted bargained & sold that parcel containing 62 acres and a quarter lying on big Stevens Creek belonging to the estate of John Covington deceased being one of the children of the said Dec'd after dividing the tract and one third part for the widow of same.
