Catherina born 1 December 1764 according to "The Story of an Old Farm" which also misspells her name. By New Hanover records her birth year was 1767 which is possible in view of the dates of the other members of this family. She married Andrew Mellick of Williams Township 11 December 1785 at St. James Lutheran Church, called "The old Straw Church" at Still Valley in Greenwich Twp., near Phillipsburg, N.J., in what was then Sussex but is now Warren County. The church records are published in the Genealogical Magazine of New Jersey,vol.8, p.29 and ff. Andrew and Catharina (Krumrein) Mellick moved about 1802 to Columbia County, Pa., near Bloomsburg and there they raised a large family. She died 11 July 1839. The children of Andrew and Catharina K. Mellick were Elizabeth, John, Andrew, William, Stephen, Catherine, Godfrey, Henry.
