Catherine Diener was admitted to White Hall Soldiers' Orphan's School Jan 1 1872. She was probably discharged in 1878 when she reached 16 years old. Her name appears in the 1879 Superintendent's report with comment that she is living with her mother in Chambersburg, PA. Katie is 17 years old in the 1880 census and she is living with her mother in Chambersburg, PA.
