STEWART, Catherine McArthur (Nee Cullis) Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Sunday, July 27, 2008, at the age of 88 years, loving wife of the late Robert Stewart, both formerly of 210 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, Quebec. Resident of Burlington for the past 12 years. Daughter of Rev. Wilfred Cullis and wife Edith Cullis; sister to Winifred Lamb (nee Cullis, deceased) and Carwyn Cullis of Burlington (deceased). Predeceased by her son, James F.L. Stewart. She will be missed by her son Robert Stewart and wife Joan Stewart of Hamilton, Ontario and by Catherine's brother Trevor Cullis and wife Marcie Cullis of Scarborough, and all of her extended family. Catherine taught school in Kirkland Lake and led a very active musical life. She played her harpsichord on CBC and was founding member of the Seigneury Ensemble. She will be missed by her many friends. Memorial service at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 1010 Botanical Dr., Burlington (just west of the RBG) on August 28, at 2:00 p.m. Donations requested to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation in lieu of flowers.
