Death of Miss Carrie L. Ricker.
The funeral of Miss Carrie L. Ricker was held Tuesday, December 11, at the home of her father, William J. Ricker, 58 Sacramento street, Rev. Cephas B. Crane, D.D., conducted the service, and a mixed quartette, under the direction of Albert P. Briggs, sang several selections. The Interment took place at North Reading, Mass.
Miss Ricker died Saturday, of consumption. She was born in Waterboro, Maine, October 27, 1886, and had lived in Cambridge about nine years. She had attended the Quincy primary and the Washington, Agassiz and Peabody grammar schools, graduating from the last, second youngest in a class of sixty-five. She was a regular attendant of the Old Cambridge Baptist church, being connected with its Sunday school and Junior Christian Endeavor Society. Mr. Ray Greene Huling, the superintendent of the Sunday school, members of her class, and many of her friends were present at the funeral service.
