  1.   It was told to me that Carl was buried between his grandparents, Spencer and Eva (Shower) DeWitt. My mother wasn't sure which set of grandparents. Upon researching the death dates of the grandparents, the conclusion was that the DeWitts were the only grandparents deceased at the time of his death.
  2.   Information gathered from birth record. Child was born alive at 3:50 a.m. and was premature - the doctor calculated that he was a month early.
