    Discrepancy in cause of death: Alta Mae Jackson's Genealogy stated: Had tonsillitis; sick only 5 days before his death. Carl Harley Mankin, states in his mother's (Helen Jackson) and grandmother's (Clara Bertha Luehm Jackson) genealogy book that this entry was crossed out and Diptheria was written in its place. Unknown as to which cause of death is correct.
