    Carew (Clarke), b. 3 Feb. and bapt. 17 Feb. 1602/3; d. s.p. at Newport, R. I., after 13 June 1679; m. Dorothy -----, who d. 13 June and was bur. at Rougham, co. Suffolk, 15 June 1658. He emigrated to New England and settled at Newport.
