    Caleb Arnold, son of William and Deliverance (Whipple) Arnold, was born at Warwick, R. I., about 1725, and died at Pawtucket, R. I., March 13, 1799. He resided in Pawtucket, during the greater part of his life, and was prominent in its affairs. He married Susanna (Stafford) McGregor, born March 10, 1722-1723, widow of Alexander McGregor and daughter of Joseph and Susanna Stafford, of Warwick, R. I. Children: Joseph, Samuel and William; Patsy; two other daughters.
