Mrs. Bridget Kilroy, wife of Peter Kilroy, died at her residence in Cannon Falls on Tuesday morning Dec. 24, 1889, aged 69 years. She was born in Ireland in 1820 and emigrated to America in 1840. She married Peter Kilroy at Oswego, New York, in 1842. In 1858 they came to St. Paul where they resided until 1862 when they came to Cannon Falls. Mrs. Kilroy suffered a stroke of paralysis, a few days ago, and never recovered from it. She leaves a husband and six children all of whom were present at her funeral. The children are Michael Kilroy, of Lincoln, Neb., Edward, of New Richmand, Wis., Mrs. M. Sheridan, Miss Maggie, P.W. and John, of Cannon Falls. The funeral took place Thursday morning from the Catholic Church, Rev. R.J. Fitzgerald officiating.
