Gr-granddaughter of Selah Brown Fitch (1813-69) and Selinda Hopkins (d. 1906), his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Hubbard Fitch (1789-1859) and Elizabeth Brown, his wife, m. 1809. Gr-gr-gr-granddaughter of Ephraim Fitch and Sarah Porter, his wife, m. 1786. Gr-gr-gr-gr-granddaughter of Moses Porter and Sarah Killam, his wife, m. 1765. Moses Porter (1738-1803) was a sergeant in the company of Capt. John Perkins, Col. Jedediah Huntington's regiment, which responded to the Lexington Alarm. He was born in Mansfield, Conn.; died in Pawlet, Vt.
