Research Notes: June 1994 I contacted Robert W. Garris, 2263 Leisure World, Mesa, AZ 85206 (602) 641-2350. He is related and submitted family group sheets on this family to Salt Lake. His first marriage to Eliza Merwin is noted here because their daughter, Laura Matilda married Walter George Hunt, brother of Louisa Hunt.
