"Beverly Powers, who has been with the 45th division since its mobilization as a National Guard unit, returned home with Army discharge Friday. Formerly a staff Sgt., Powers had been in the Mediterranean Theatre since the 45th shipped overseas with two years ago. He arrived in the United States last weekend and was discharged at Camp Chaffee, Arkansas. His wife, Van Noy Shelton, is deputy court clerk of Marshall County, Oklahoma.
